Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee HR operations for two acute care hospitals and one rehab/FSED facility.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hospital leadership, including C-suite executives.
  • Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department leaders and frontline staff.
  • Mentor and empower HR team members; foster a collaborative, non-micromanaged environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, accreditation standards, and HR best practices.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, retention, and staff development.
  • Travel quarterly to regional sites for training and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (required).
  • Significant HR leadership experience within a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to empower and lead teams without micromanagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a relationship-building leadership style.
  • Experience collaborating across departments and with executive-level leaders.
  • Knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and organizational development.
