Join a dynamic, high-volume Emergency Department treating an average of 200 patients per day. Our facility is a Level III Trauma Center, STEMI and Stroke receiving, with critical stroke interventions transported out. We offer cutting-edge technology and an experienced multidisciplinary team to support complex emergency care delivery.
⚠️ Trauma & Experience Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 2 years recent ED experience
- Accumulated Level I or II trauma experience within the past 2–3 years
- Gunshot/Stabbing exposure preferred
Level III or lower-only trauma experience is not sufficient for this role.

🧑⚕️ Staffing & Support
- Physicians/Mid-levels: Board-certified shifts including pediatric coverage
- Charge Nurse: No dedicated charge; House Supervisor available
- Techs & Support Staff:
- ED Techs (2+ yrs): EKG, vitals, splints, blood draws
- PCAs (<2 yrs): Same scope
- Monitor Tech on shift
- RT assigned 24/7 (ABGs, vents, CPAP, neb tx)
- Phlebotomy: Not available; labs drawn by RNs or ED Techs
- Radiology: In-house CT & X-ray with dedicated transport team
🩺 Certifications Required
- Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Preferred: TNCC
💊 Common Diagnoses & Equipment
- Treating all emergent needs, including penetrating trauma
- ICU gtts for hold patients (ICU team assists as able)
- Tele interpreted by RNs; Glidescope and Hamilton/Philips ventilators available
🚗 Floating & Scrubs
- Floats to Foothills freestanding ER (15-minute commute)
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Floating is scheduled ahead; infrequent last-minute requests
