🔍 What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring the highest standards of care and service.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient flow, quality outcomes, and efficiency.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and other key stakeholders to drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop nursing leadership within the department to promote professional growth and staff engagement.

📚 What You Bring

✅ RN license in the State of Texas (or compact state)

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred

✅ 3–5 years of recent acute care emergency department leadership experience (Director-level preferred)

✅ Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications

✅ Strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and experience leading large teams

✅ Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills
