Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic HR team as an HR Assistant on a contract basis.
  • Assist with auditing and processing I-9 files for compliance and accuracy.
  • Work onsite in a professional environment Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.
  • Engage directly with employees to ensure proper documentation and support.
  • Contribute to a critical project ensuring organizational compliance with employment regulations.
  • Immediate start available for candidates with relevant experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Audit approximately 500 I-9 files, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Process both electronic and paper documentation efficiently and meticulously.
  • Log information into spreadsheets for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Engage with employees to collect and verify necessary documentation.
  • Ensure proper completion of I-9 forms in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and employees to resolve issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required for consideration.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR or administrative roles.
  • Experience with I-9 processing and auditing is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with employees and team members.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software for data logging and reporting.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.
