Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operations for bespoke private deal transactions, ensuring high-quality execution and compliance.
  • Manage a dynamic team of associates and analysts within Private Deal Operations.
  • Collaborate with industry teams and capital markets to maintain deal pipelines globally.
  • Oversee operational processes for special purpose vehicles and private trade activities.
  • Coordinate funding processes and regulatory data points with internal and external teams.
  • Ensure quality control in secondary trade settlements and data accuracy projects.
  • Act as a key escalation point for internal teams, clients, and counterparties.
  • Work in a hybrid model with in-office requirements Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage operational processes for complex private deal transactions across US and global markets.
  • Supervise associates and analysts to ensure efficient operations and team development.
  • Coordinate primary deal funding processes with treasury and strategic partnership funds.
  • Oversee asset setup, trade booking, and post-closing review processes for primary deals.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and data accuracy in collaboration with registered funds teams.
  • Maintain operational controls and resolve queries related to private deal activities.
  • Coordinate secondary trading processing and settlement with external counterparties.
  • Lead data quality projects with investor reporting, client coverage, and structured finance teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with high academic achievement.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services; 12 years preferred.
  • At least 2 years of management or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in private credit operations and strong analytical skills required.
  • Ability to coordinate complex activities and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to engage at all levels.
  • Highly motivated, independent, and capable of managing operational processes effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to Texas occasionally for business purposes.
