Job Description

Overview

  • Join a leading compliance team in Midtown Manhattan, contributing to AML/KYC and FATCA/CRS processes.
  • Work in a dynamic hybrid environment with in-office collaboration three days a week.
  • Be part of a global organization with a presence in major financial hubs worldwide.
  • Support private equity, real estate, and infrastructure fund clients with compliance expertise.
  • Contribute to a growing team and play a key role in compliance operations.
  • Collaborate with client service managers and financial accounting teams to meet compliance needs.
  • Opportunity to work on jurisdictional reporting requirements including Cayman and Luxembourg.
  • Engage in hands-on compliance activities with manageable workload supported by client teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee AML/KYC processes during onboarding and maintain compliance manuals.
  • Ensure adherence to new regulations within compliance processes and manuals.
  • Manage FATCA/CRS reporting for Cayman clients and submission to DITC portal.
  • Collaborate with global offices to strengthen compliance frameworks.
  • Address client inquiries on compliance topics such as AML/KYC and regulatory forms.
  • Stay updated on laws, rules, and regulations through industry conferences.
  • Monitor compliance with US GAAP and internal company procedures.
  • Perform additional ad hoc duties or projects as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required; compliance or legal experience preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in compliance or legal within private equity.
  • Strong understanding of AML/KYC and FATCA/CRS processes in private equity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present information effectively and address client questions.
  • Proficiency in writing reports and business correspondence.
  • Problem-solving skills to manage diverse situations and challenges.
  • Preferred certifications such as CAM are advantageous but not mandatory.
