Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures with technical expertise and precision.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of imaging results and patient records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in all imaging procedures.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and interns.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide clerical support to the imaging department as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging; 2 years preferred.
  • Certification as RDMS, RDCS, or RVT by the ARDMS is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
  • Preferred qualifications include RDMS-BR certification and Spanish bilingual skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to high standards of patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
