Overview

  • Lead and manage construction projects in the Chicago area as a Project Manager.
  • Oversee ground-up big box retail and light industrial construction projects.
  • Work in a hybrid schedule with two days remote and three days onsite.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure project completion within budget and timelines.
  • Engage in some day-trip travel as part of project management duties.
  • Utilize your expertise in construction management to enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or deviations promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize project efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration among team members and external partners.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction project management.

  • Proven expertise in ground-up big box retail and light industrial projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with occasional day-trip travel.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.
