Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic HR team as an Employee Relations Specialist on a contract basis.
  • Conduct HR investigations into discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and disciplinary matters.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to implement policies and procedures effectively.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with four days onsite and one remote day weekly.
  • Engage in a full-time schedule with flexible shifts from 9-5 or 10-6.
  • Contribute to a minimum six-month contract with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct thorough and impartial HR investigations into workplace concerns.
  • Advise on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all HR activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve employee disputes and foster positive relations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of investigations and employee relations activities.
  • Provide training and support to managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR meetings and contribute to the development of strategic initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in HR investigations and employee relations.
  • Proven ability to conduct investigations into discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
  • Strong knowledge of performance management and disciplinary action processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite and remote responsibilities.
