Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process accurate recording of monthly business transactions in the general ledger.
- Perform account reviews and reconciliations, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Review expense reports for compliance with company guidelines.
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations with precision.
- Report cash balances and ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.
- Assist in preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements with variance analysis.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for commissions calculations and data review.
- Support HR in recording payroll and benefits expenses accurately.
- Collaborate in year-end external financial statement reviews and tax preparation.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; further education in accounting is a plus.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred; internships considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including pivot tables.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for financial reporting tasks.
- Ability to work onsite five days a week in Neville Island, Pittsburgh.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in financial processes.
