Job Description

Overview

  • Lead recruitment initiatives for a prestigious law firm, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director to develop innovative recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Manage recruitment activities for legal and business operations roles, including law students and lateral hires.
  • Support the firm’s Summer Associate Program, ensuring smooth execution and positive experiences.
  • Contribute to the firm’s mission-driven culture, focusing on civil rights and public interest law.
  • Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics to inform strategic decisions and improvements.
  • Collaborate with coordinators and external recruiters to identify and attract top talent.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with three days onsite weekly, fostering collaboration and productivity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with firm objectives and market trends.
  • Manage the recruitment lifecycle, including job descriptions, interviews, feedback collection, and offer processes.
  • Coordinate on-campus recruitment efforts, including outreach, scheduling, and travel arrangements.
  • Design and oversee the Summer Associate Program, ensuring comprehensive pre-arrival and event planning.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and compile recruitment statistics for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring recruitment budgets, ensuring financial alignment with goals.
  • Collaborate with team members and external recruiters to identify and secure top-tier candidates.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, with 1-2 years in team management.
  • Experience in a law firm environment is mandatory.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and advanced Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
