Overview

  • Join a dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk on a contract basis.
  • Work on-site in Rego Park, Queens, with convenient street parking options.
  • Perform essential accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of members' accounts and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Prepare and send correspondence to members and contractors regarding account status.
  • Reconcile accounts for members and contractors to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage accounts by contacting members and contractors as needed.
  • Organize and maintain office filing systems, including scanning member files.
  • Answer phone calls and provide exceptional customer service to inquiries.
  • Assist with general office duties to support the accounting department.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required, preferably in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or similar role.
  • Preferred 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and bilingual Spanish skills are advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work on-site in Rego Park, Queens, with reliable transportation.
  • Excellent numerical skills and ability to perform accurate data entry.
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliability in daily attendance.
