Overview

  • Join a dynamic investment advisory firm as a Sales Commissions & Operations Associate, contributing to both sales distribution and investment operations.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure accurate commission calculations and operational support across asset management functions.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, primarily based in Huntington, Long Island, with occasional NYC office visits.
  • Gain exposure to both sales-related compensation and back-office investment operations workflows.
  • Leverage advanced tools such as MARS commission software and Salesforce CRM for data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Calculate and reconcile monthly and quarterly wholesaler sales commissions using MARS software.
  • Maintain sales data alignment across Salesforce CRM, MARS, and Finance systems.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc commission and sales reports for senior management review.
  • Perform daily trade capture, affirmation, and reporting across custodians and counterparties.
  • Conduct trade reconciliation and monitor settlement processes to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and preparation of client deliverables.
  • Support fund accounting, pricing, and performance reporting processes while collaborating with portfolio management and compliance teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial services, including sales/distribution and investment operations.
  • Proficiency in MARS commission software and Salesforce CRM is essential.
  • Familiarity with trade reconciliation, settlement, and investment accounting processes preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros, are highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Progress toward CFA, CAIA, or similar designation is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams.
