Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform accurate data entry of accounts payable invoices into the system.
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting.
  • Process and reconcile expense reports in compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely payments.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies and inquiries related to invoices.
  • Utilize "The Construction Manager" software for AP tasks after training.
  • Support the team in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the AP department.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction industry practices is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in data entry and spreadsheet management essential.
  • Ability to commute to College Point, NY, with reliable transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Willingness to learn and use "The Construction Manager" software.
