Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic team as a Collections and Audit Analyst on a contract basis.
  • Contribute to efficient audit and collection processes within a structured environment.
  • Handle confidential matters requiring knowledge of organizational policies and agreements.
  • Support attorneys in collection efforts and negotiate payment agreements with external parties.
  • Track and manage delinquent accounts, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Create and distribute audit announcement letters; update tracking databases.
  • Assist auditors by providing necessary documents and monitoring audit statuses.
  • Process completed audits and notify employers of results and delinquent contributions.
  • Review auditor invoices for accuracy and process received payments.
  • Print and mail delinquency letters, assisting employers in resolving issues.
  • Support attorneys in collection efforts and track legal counsel accounts.
  • Negotiate terms with external parties and create repayment agreements.
  • Make recommendations on employer overpayments and manage pension submissions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections or auditing required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with Taft-Hartley Trust Funds or payroll auditing is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage complex issues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in managing confidential matters and adhering to organizational policies.
  • Flexible and cooperative demeanor to handle dynamic operational needs.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications preferred.
