Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage billing processes for assigned partners, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Coordinate new matter intake and maintain organized billing records.
- Generate and distribute prebills, finalize invoices, and submit e-bills.
- Monitor electronic billing platforms, handle appeals, and resolve billing rejections.
- Follow up on open balances and communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and legal support staff to ensure billing accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive billing information.
- Perform administrative tasks related to billing and support firm operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in law firm billing operations.
- Proficiency in SurePoint and Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
