Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage billing processes for assigned partners, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Coordinate new matter intake and maintain organized billing records.
  • Generate and distribute prebills, finalize invoices, and submit e-bills.
  • Monitor electronic billing platforms, handle appeals, and resolve billing rejections.
  • Follow up on open balances and communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, partners, and legal support staff to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive billing information.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to billing and support firm operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in law firm billing operations.
  • Proficiency in SurePoint and Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Experience in electronic billing platforms and managing billing appeals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
