Accounting Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entry reviews and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process payroll transactions and reconcile benefits for US and UK subsidiaries.
• Review customer contracts to ensure revenue recognition compliance with ASC 606.
• Collaborate with sales and legal teams to optimize contract terms impacting revenue.
• Implement standardized processes to mitigate compliance risks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain data hygiene in source systems to ensure accurate GAAP reporting.
• Coordinate year-end audits and manage tax correspondences and compliance filings.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or high-growth startups.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and ASC 606 compliance essential.
• Experience with Salesforce and Netsuite systems required; familiarity with additional tools a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor junior staff effectively.
• Comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
