Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
- Handle multi-line phone systems, directing calls and managing messages effectively.
- Assist patients with registration, inquiries, and appointment confirmations.
- Provide visitors with necessary support and guidance upon arrival.
- Maintain and update patient information in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Prepare charts and documentation for upcoming medical cases.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.
- Educate patients on healthcare proxies, advance directives, and privacy practices.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; 3 years preferred.
- Current BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic record-keeping is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work on-site during specified operational hours, including occasional weekends.
