Overview

  • Join a dynamic specialty pharmacy team as a Pharmacist on a contract basis.
  • Focus on data verification and quality assurance to ensure patient care excellence.

  • Support compliance with REMS and regulatory standards within pharmacy workflows.
  • Contribute to accreditation surveys and audits for operational excellence.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to resolve data inconsistencies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Verify prescription data accuracy, including patient demographics and drug details.
  • Review prior authorization documentation and clinical notes for compliance.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and resolve discrepancies before medication dispensing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to address clinical issues.
  • Monitor patient profiles for adherence to REMS and regulatory programs.
  • Maintain documentation aligned with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist in auditing initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Provide support during accreditation surveys and compliance audits.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution required.
  • Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in applicable states.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in specialty pharmacy or clinical review.
  • Proficiency in specialty pharmacy systems and electronic health records.
  • Strong knowledge of specialty medications and disease states.
  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software platforms.
