Job Description

Overview

  • Lead quality initiatives and compliance strategies as Chief Quality Officer in a healthcare organization.
  • Oversee a team of 10 direct reports, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive quality improvement and patient safety programs.
  • Develop and implement policies to maintain regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements.
  • Utilize your nursing expertise to enhance clinical outcomes and organizational efficiency.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes at the executive level.
  • Ensure seamless transition and continuity in leadership during organizational changes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to direct reports, fostering professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct and manage quality assurance programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient care standards and clinical outcomes.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies to maintain certifications and accreditations.
  • Develop training programs for staff to enhance quality awareness and compliance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement projects.
  • Ensure effective communication of quality standards across all organizational levels.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management; 8 years preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience at VP level in healthcare settings.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and accreditation processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to drive quality improvements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team of direct reports effectively.
