Overview

  • Join a dedicated healthcare team providing inpatient detox and rehabilitation services in a 32-bed facility for individuals with chemical addiction.
  • Serve as a Registered Nurse, managing client health needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Work onsite in a structured schedule, offering critical care and health education to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Act as primary medical case manager, conducting health checks and coordinating with nursing leadership and team members.
  • Link clients' medical and psychosocial needs, making referrals and suggestions for medical and psychiatric treatment.
  • Document client health findings, maintain medication administration records, and ensure adequate medication supply.
  • Provide health education to clients, advocating for their preferences and developing health goals collaboratively.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences to share client needs and optimize care plans.
  • Deliver emergency first aid and CPR assistance as required, ensuring immediate client safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, and other treatment collaterals to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the healthcare facility.

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; 3 years preferred for optimal performance.
  • Proficiency in medical case management and health education delivery to diverse client populations.
  • Strong documentation skills to maintain medication records and controlled substance logs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers.
  • Knowledge of emergency care procedures, including first aid and CPR.
  • Commitment to client advocacy and development of personalized health goals.
  • Availability to work onsite during scheduled hours, including weekends.
