Overview
- Lead financial operations for private equity funds in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Manage fund accounting, financial reporting, and capital call/distribution processes.
- Provide guidance and training to accounting staff and oversee team performance.
- Collaborate directly with General Partners to address fund-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and partnership agreements.
- Contribute to organizational growth through forecasting and budgeting expertise.
- Work remotely with preference for candidates in Pacific or Mountain Time zones.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and distribute quarterly financial statements to Limited Partners.
- Calculate and issue capital call notices and distribution proceeds.
- Review investment packages to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise and mentor accounting team members, providing training and support.
- Collaborate with auditors to facilitate fund audits and confirmations.
- Interpret partnership agreements and manage complex waterfall calculations.
- Develop and implement training programs for team members.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in supervisory roles.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and partnership accounting software.
- Experience with private equity fund operations and complex client interactions.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for professional client and team interactions.
- Ability to work remotely, preferably in Pacific or Mountain Time zones.
