Overview

  • Work as a Project Architect at a leading design firm specializing in architecture, engineering, and landscape architecture.
  • Contribute to diverse projects including civic, institutional, educational, and library developments.
  • Engage in all project phases, from concept development to construction administration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Participate in public engagement activities, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
  • Utilize expertise in ADA compliance, rendering, and visualization techniques.
  • Contribute to sustainable design initiatives and diversified engineering portfolios.
  • Support the firm's commitment to historic preservation and forensic architecture.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop architectural designs and plans in alignment with project goals and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for MEP, fire protection, and systems design integration.
  • Conduct site assessments, existing condition evaluations, and code compliance reviews.
  • Manage project budgets, cost estimations, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead construction administration activities, including client representation and contractor coordination.
  • Prepare renderings, visualizations, and presentations for stakeholder communication.
  • Facilitate public workshops and engagement sessions to gather input and feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to sustainability practices and environmental standards in design.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of architectural experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance, sustainability practices, and code regulations.
  • Experience in construction administration and client representation.
  • Strong skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and project scheduling.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage diverse portfolios.
  • Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and public workshops.
