Overview
- Contribute to the tax department by preparing partnership tax returns and supporting tax compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Tax, on complex tax projects and audits.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of Federal, state, and city tax returns.
- Manage foreign bank account reporting and various foreign tax compliance requirements.
- Provide tax-related communication and guidance to the organization's partners.
- Supervise tax staff, offering feedback and support to enhance team performance.
- Assist in special projects and other responsibilities assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and assist in preparing complex Federal, state, and city income tax returns.
- Oversee state and city tax audits, and assist with Federal tax audits.
- Prepare estimated tax payment calculations and tax amounts for partner distributions.
- Manage foreign bank account reporting and state withholding forms.
- Supervise tax staff, providing consistent feedback and support for their development.
- Deliver tax-related communication to partners, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned by management.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of partnership tax experience, preferably from a top accounting firm.
- CPA or EA certification preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, including advanced functions like VLookup and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills essential.
- Experience supervising staff and managing tax compliance processes.
- Knowledge of individual and international tax compliance is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
