Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage case management processes, ensuring effective care coordination and discharge planning.
- Supervise staff performance, providing evaluations, corrective actions, and development plans.
- Monitor quality indicators and regulatory compliance, addressing sentinel events and process improvements.
- Develop and implement orientation programs and role definitions for new hires.
- Facilitate communication and advocacy efforts, resolving conflicts and negotiating care plans.
- Analyze budget variances and productivity metrics to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with staffing regulations, including FMLA and workplace safety standards.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives, focusing on patient satisfaction and regulatory readiness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with active RN licensure.
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient experience in California, with supervisory roles preferred.
- Certifications: BLS required; CCM or ACM preferred.
- Proficiency in Epic systems and familiarity with trauma level II care.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality indicators, and risk management.
- Experience in financial management, including budget analysis and revenue principles.
- Skills in advocacy, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
