Overview

  • Lead and supervise field nursing operations within a reputable healthcare organization, ensuring quality care and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee paraprofessional staff, including home health aides and nurses, to deliver exceptional home healthcare services.
  • Conduct field visits and provide professional supervision and training to enhance staff competency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with office-based teams to ensure seamless integration of field operations and administrative processes.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies to uphold service excellence.
  • Participate in competency testing and training programs to ensure staff readiness and adherence to care standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate paraprofessional staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct field visits to monitor service delivery and provide on-the-job training to staff.
  • Assist in classroom and field competency testing to evaluate staff performance and readiness.
  • Collaborate with office teams to integrate field operations with administrative processes effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Nursing or a related field required.
  • Current New York State License as a Registered Professional Nurse mandatory.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in home care or acute care settings.
  • Strong knowledge of professional and paraprofessional healthcare practices and regulations.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills for interacting with staff and clients.
  • Competence in mathematical operations related to medication calculations and measurements.
