Overview

- Provides training and support for technologies used by the Office of the Registrar.
- Manages digital communication platforms and public web pages for clear and user-friendly information.
- Supports the production of academic catalogs and resources for students and faculty.
- Represents the Office on institutional committees related to academic operations and technology.
- Ensures compliance with academic policies and promotes inclusion and equity in operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead day-to-day operations of student records and registration systems, ensuring effective use of critical technologies.
- Manage course scheduling systems and ensure seamless integration with academic platforms.
- Provide training and support for faculty and staff on registrar-related technologies.
- Oversee student data processing operations, including system upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of student data and academic records in systems.
- Collaborate with IT to assess and improve system functionalities and integrations.
- Assist with registration processes, final exam scheduling, and end-of-term processing.
- Maintain and update public web pages and portal presence for the Office of the Registrar.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
- Minimum of six years of experience in higher education student records management.
- Proficiency in managing student information systems such as Banner, Colleague, or PeopleSoft.
- Strong technical and analytical skills for improving administrative systems and processes.
- Knowledge of higher education principles, practices, and FERPA regulations.
- Experience with digital communication platforms and academic scheduling systems.
- Ability to provide training and support for faculty and staff on registrar technologies.
