Job Description

Overview

  • Design and maintain advanced network architectures to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and technology strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership in planning and implementing network solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve network issues to maintain system reliability and efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend enhancements for network infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and architecture.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network management.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for network operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design, deploy, and maintain network systems including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess network capacity and scalability needs.
  • Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure from vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate with teams for business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Provide senior-level technical support and guidance for network-related projects.
  • Develop and execute testing protocols for network hardware and software upgrades.
  • Maintain and update network documentation to reflect current configurations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Catalyst and Nexus networking, Checkpoint firewalls, and DNS systems.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure and Cisco ISE.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols and network security principles.
  • Preferred certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCSP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
