Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain sterile fields and manage surgical instruments during procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Collaborate with surgeons and nurses to provide seamless surgical support.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and sterility of surgical environments.
- Communicate effectively with the perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Support inventory management and ordering of surgical supplies.
Job Requirements
- Unrestricted Surgical Technologist license in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtainable upon hire.
- Preferred: Two years of recent operating room experience.
- Preferred: Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST).
- Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
