Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Audit Associate in a mid-sized CPA firm, delivering high-quality assurance services to diverse clients.
  • Utilize your expertise in audit testing, planning, and financial statement preparation to support audit opinions.
  • Contribute to client satisfaction by providing technical accounting and consulting services.
  • Engage in multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Research technical issues arising during audit engagements and develop effective solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements and participate in professional development activities.
  • Enhance client relationships through positive communication and quality service delivery.
  • Work onsite to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform audit testing and planning, preparing and reviewing supporting documentation.
  • Conduct analytical reviews of account balances and prepare financial statements.
  • Deliver technical accounting and consulting services to meet client needs.
  • Handle multiple client engagements, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Research and resolve technical issues encountered during audits.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication.
  • Adhere to continuing education requirements and participate in professional organizations.
  • Travel to client locations as required to perform audit tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 2-4 years of audit experience in public accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
