Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate and execute project management tasks within a structured environment, ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and engineering teams, fostering effective communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Track, document, and report on project progress, providing transparency and accountability to stakeholders.
  • Participate in gathering functional business requirements and documenting process flows for firm-wide applications.
  • Facilitate meetings, ensuring outcomes are clearly documented, owned, and executed effectively.
  • Produce executive-level reports and dashboards, showcasing development activity and progress.
  • Drive ongoing improvements to current processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with business and engineering teams, strengthening collaboration and alignment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
  • Partner with development leads on resource forecasting and capacity planning to optimize project execution.
  • Manage and prioritize discretionary change requests, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Document process flows and system details, supporting firm-wide application development and implementation.
  • Maintain project tracking systems, ensuring tasks and priorities are up-to-date and accurately reflect team progress.
  • Facilitate meetings, ensuring outcomes are clearly documented, owned, and executed effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, or relevant field required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in project management or business analysis preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with JIRA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and software development processes advantageous.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at navigating ambiguity.
  • Ability to multi-task, take ownership of issues, and follow through accordingly.
  • Flexibility to work individually, in a team, across teams, and with different management levels.
