Job Description

Overview

  • Support the operational lifecycle of Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) transactions with precision and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate trade processing and settlement within CLO portfolios, collaborating with portfolio managers and custodians.
  • Monitor and reconcile cash flows, including interest payments, principal repayments, and expense allocations.
  • Maintain adherence to CLO indenture terms, investment guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document trade activities, amendments, and portfolio transactions accurately and systematically.
  • Collaborate with technology and data teams to resolve system issues and implement operational enhancements.
  • Contribute to system automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy in operations.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, combining in-office and remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process and reconcile primary and secondary loan trades within CLO portfolios.
  • Coordinate with portfolio managers, custodians, trustees, and counterparties for timely trade settlements.
  • Monitor cash flows, including interest payments and principal repayments, ensuring accurate allocations.
  • Assist in waterfall modeling and cash distribution processes for CLO transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with CLO indenture terms and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of trade documentation, amendments, and portfolio activities.
  • Support system enhancements and automation initiatives to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with technology and data teams to resolve system-related issues effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in CLO operations, loan administration, or structured finance.
  • Strong understanding of syndicated loans, CLO structures, and waterfall mechanics.
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with loan systems like Wall Street Office or ClearPar is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining in-office and remote work.
