Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the corporate finance team by consolidating financial results and delivering accurate reports.
  • Analyze financial statements and prepare variance analyses against forecasts, budgets, and prior years.
  • Collaborate with international finance directors on accounting, reporting, and planning matters.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls over corporate accounting functions.
  • Assist in compliance with third-party requests including audits, tax, legal, and SOX requirements.
  • Prepare analytical reports and presentations for upper management decision-making.
  • Maintain corporate accounting policies and procedures in alignment with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Engage in one-off projects and assignments as required by the finance team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform monthly financial close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial results and prepare variance reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and planning.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard corporate accounting functions.
  • Support external audits and compliance requirements with tax, legal, and SOX departments.
  • Create detailed analytical reports and presentations for executive decision-making.
  • Maintain adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by finance leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience, preferably in auditing.
  • CPA certification strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, and emerging accounting issues.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems such as SAP BPC or OneStream.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
