Overview
- Join a dynamic accounting team servicing hedge and private equity fund vehicles.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers for fund operations.
- Engage in financial reporting, including audited financials and tax deliverables.
- Utilize proprietary technology tools for maintaining investor and investment data.
- Contribute to defining and updating operating policies and procedures.
- Support cash management and reconciliation processes for fund operations.
- Participate in ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, fund managers, and service providers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing fund operations effectively.
- Review NAV packages, capital events, and management fee calculations.
- Monitor cash positions, liquidity, and manage cash reserves.
- Run accounts payable and expense allocation processes accurately.
- Maintain investor and investment data using proprietary technology tools.
- Define, update, and maintain operating policies and procedures.
- Liaise with custodians, banks, and counterparties as needed.
- Fulfill ad-hoc requests and contribute to team projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Entry-level position with a preference for candidates with 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and proprietary technology tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client and team interactions.
