Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic accounting team servicing hedge and private equity fund vehicles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers for fund operations.
  • Engage in financial reporting, including audited financials and tax deliverables.
  • Utilize proprietary technology tools for maintaining investor and investment data.
  • Contribute to defining and updating operating policies and procedures.
  • Support cash management and reconciliation processes for fund operations.
  • Participate in ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, fund managers, and service providers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing fund operations effectively.
  • Review NAV packages, capital events, and management fee calculations.
  • Monitor cash positions, liquidity, and manage cash reserves.
  • Run accounts payable and expense allocation processes accurately.
  • Maintain investor and investment data using proprietary technology tools.
  • Define, update, and maintain operating policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with custodians, banks, and counterparties as needed.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc requests and contribute to team projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Entry-level position with a preference for candidates with 2 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting and financial reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and proprietary technology tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client and team interactions.
  • Ability to manage cash positions and reconcile accounts effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach to reviewing financial documents and calculations.
  • Capability to define and update operating policies and procedures.
