Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic supply chain operations in surgical and procedural areas, ensuring clinical integration and expense management.
  • Collaborate with hospital executives, physicians, and clinicians to build strong alliances and drive operational improvements.
  • Develop and execute product standardizations and implement national formularies across the division.
  • Support margin improvement activities, including inventory management and patient billing review.
  • Optimize group purchasing organization contracts and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Drive positive change through program definition and initiatives supporting clinical, operational, and financial goals.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate, division, and facility-level strategies in supply chain operations.
  • Lead and manage division projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide leadership in supply chain operations, focusing on surgical services and procedural areas.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to implement and support warehouse stocking strategies.
  • Facilitate product standardization and optimization of supply utilization with physicians and clinicians.
  • Develop detailed supply expense savings plans and monitor performance to goals.
  • Support operational needs for surgical and specialty area infrastructure projects.
  • Hire, train, manage, and evaluate facility Clinical Resource Directors and other relevant staff.
  • Utilize benchmarking tools to drive margin improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Lead division clinical value analysis teams and service line committees for product evaluation and standardization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of hospital management experience required; experience in large hospital or multiple campus facilities preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage supply chain operations and clinical integration initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial, operational, and clinical metrics.
  • Experience in project management and executing cost-saving strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including executives, physicians, and clinicians.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and contract compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive positive change and customer satisfaction.
