Overview

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of mission-critical data center construction projects.
  • Ensure successful delivery of complex projects, managing teams and client relationships.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality outcomes within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction teams for planning, budgeting, and strategy development.
  • Provide executive-level oversight and resolve project risks and issues effectively.
  • Mentor and develop project staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring alignment and strong partnerships.
  • Lead internal teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor financial performance and report project status to leadership and clients.
  • Guide contract negotiations, project buyouts, and change management processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining stakeholder alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and commissioning processes.
  • Support strategic planning and budgeting during preconstruction phases.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with 5+ years in data center projects.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale, technically complex projects.
  • Deep understanding of MEP systems and critical infrastructure requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risks effectively.
