Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in various human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel records management.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate employee events such as appreciation days, holiday parties, and monthly activities.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires and temporary staff.
  • Ensure accurate payroll and benefit administration, including invoicing reconciliation.
  • Maintain personnel files and oversee the offboarding process.
  • Contribute to internal communications, including monthly newsletters and updates.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead recruiting efforts, coordinate with agencies, and manage candidate communications.
  • Plan and facilitate employee events and activities to enhance engagement.
  • Transmit payroll and salary changes to accounting and benefit carriers.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoicing and ensure accuracy.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries and refer sensitive matters appropriately.
  • Administer leave paperwork and assist with compliance reporting.
  • Manage personnel files and oversee exit interviews and termination processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in human resources or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Windows and MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration is advantageous.
