Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic financial services firm as an FP&A Financial Analyst specializing in Alternative Credit business operations and analysis.
  • Contribute to strategic financial planning and analysis, supporting decision-making processes with accurate and timely data insights.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and presentations for various stakeholders including CFO and Board members.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and provide projections for monthly forecasts and annual plans.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis requests and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop, automate, and maintain financial models and reports for decision support.
  • Analyze trends in key performance indicators and apply findings to forecasts and plans.
  • Create and present financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly department-level reports, discussing variances with management.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to implement process controls and ensure data integrity.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in FP&A roles.
  • Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning and Alteryx is highly desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for effective data analysis and presentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Sound judgment and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
