Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and private foundations.
- Develop quarterly tax estimate projections and analyze financial data for accuracy.
- Handle foreign filing disclosures and reports, ensuring compliance with international tax laws.
- Respond to federal and state tax notices effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with managers to address complex tax issues and provide solutions.
- Utilize tax software and tools such as GoSystem, BNA, and QuickBooks for tax preparation and planning.
- Maintain compliance with tax deadlines and regulatory requirements through organized and analytical approaches.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation, preferably in public accounting.
- CPA or EA certification preferred, or actively pursuing licensure.
- Proficiency in tax software such as GoSystem, BNA, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to meet various tax deadlines.
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers and team members.
