Overview

  • The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • This role involves verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations and vendor communication.
  • Prepare tax documents and generate detailed reports on accounts payable status.
  • Maintain organized records through scanning and filing processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and recording accounts payable data.
  • Investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements.
  • Manage invoice payments, including online bill payments.
  • Generate detailed reports on accounts payable status for management review.
  • Prepare and mail required tax documents accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Maintain organized records through scanning and filing processes.
  • Communicate professionally with vendors and agencies to resolve issues.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience; real estate property management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to changes in job scope.
  • Ability to work onsite with consistent hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
