Job Description
Overview
- Support the Private Credit business by managing middle-office functions including deal closings, portfolio management, trade settlements, and investor services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and accurate portfolio data reconciliation.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting for various investment structures including commingled funds and CLOs.
- Enhance operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote work arrangements.
- Engage with third-party administrators and custodians to ensure seamless operations and data integrity.
- Provide ad hoc support to internal teams, addressing operational challenges and inquiries.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Execute deal closings and draft assignments, liaising with counterparties and agents for timely settlements.
- Resolve positional and payment discrepancies through daily escalation and coordination.
- Collaborate with third-party administrators to maintain accurate portfolio data and reconcile payments.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for diverse investment structures including SMAs and BDCs.
- Support internal teams with operational requests and enhance overall efficiency.
- Utilize knowledge of loan products and systems to streamline operations and compliance.
- Assist with leverage facility borrowing bases and CLO compliance administration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in loan or credit operations, preferably in buyside Private Credit or Direct Lending.
- Proficiency in systems such as Clearpar, Black Mountain Everest, Nexen, and CorPro.
- Knowledge of leverage facility borrowing bases and CLO compliance administration is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and motivation to enhance operational processes.
