Job Description

Overview

  • Lead clinical operations and outcomes across multiple centers within the assigned market.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop Clinical Directors and healthcare professionals.
  • Allocate time between direct patient care and leadership responsibilities.
  • Drive clinical performance objectives, growth, and culture alignment.
  • Collaborate with Regional President on market strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and quality improvement processes.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to enhance clinical credibility and trust.
  • Promote talent development and engagement within the clinical team.
  • Contribute to the implementation of cost reduction strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage clinical outcomes and day-to-day operations of multiple centers.
  • Mentor and coach Medical Directors to achieve outstanding clinical results.
  • Lead talent development initiatives for PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors.
  • Cultivate a physician culture aligned with core values and service standards.
  • Participate in recruiting and interviewing clinical candidates.
  • Establish relationships with payers, specialists, and community stakeholders.
  • Monitor and respond to workplace concerns to maintain positive culture.
  • Assist with quality and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver clinical care as a PCP, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree (DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Board eligibility required; Board Certification preferred.
  • Active medical license in the state of employment.
  • Experience in managed care delivery systems and population risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 30%.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities in clinical settings.
  • Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills.
