Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address training needs effectively.
  • Develop instructional materials, job aids, and programs tailored to diverse learning objectives.
  • Manage clinical and classroom training programs, ensuring trainer competency and development.
  • Research innovative training techniques and integrate enhancements into existing programs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors for supplemental training solutions.
  • Develop schedules ensuring timely and accessible training delivery across organizational locations.
  • Align training strategies with talent acquisition, development, and retention objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assess and refine current training programs, tools, and platforms to enhance effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and achieve long-term learning objectives.
  • Coordinate training strategies to support business unit goals and human capital outcomes.
  • Oversee competency testing and development programs for trainers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of training programs on organizational performance.
  • Ensure training delivery aligns with operational needs and participant accessibility.
  • Develop and implement instructional design strategies for new and existing staff training.
  • Manage vendor relationships to augment training resources and expertise.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree required, preferably in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in training and development roles.
  • Proven expertise in instructional design and program development.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to assess and implement innovative training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
  • Experience in vendor management and external training resources.
  • Knowledge of clinical and classroom training environments preferred.
