Overview

  • Lead client engagements, providing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services to diverse industries.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and industry challenges.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the advisory team through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering professional development and team excellence.
  • Utilize expertise in tax planning and compliance to deliver tailored solutions for client projects.
  • Engage in special projects such as budgeting, cash flow projections, and sales tax advisory.
  • Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of engagements, meeting client satisfaction standards.
  • Stay updated on current business trends and regulations to provide informed advisory services.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage client engagements, including tax compliance, research, planning, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and review detailed working papers, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of client businesses and industry-specific challenges.
  • Foster effective relationships with internal and external clients, enhancing collaboration.
  • Assist clients with budgeting, cash flow projections, and tax planning initiatives.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop staff, providing oversight and evaluative feedback on engagements.
  • Contribute to client retention and growth through cross-selling services and relationship building.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA certification mandatory.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a CPA firm setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn firm-specific technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain business relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate diverse business situations and trends.
  • Willingness to travel as required and flexibility during peak times.
