Overview

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a dynamic clinical setting, ensuring their health and wellness needs are met effectively.
  • Administer immunizations, conduct health screenings, and collect specimens for diagnostic testing, adhering to best practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to support patient care continuity.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to uphold clinical standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient care delivery and adherence to schedules.
  • Document patient vital signs, perform routine health screenings, and administer vaccinations accurately.
  • Assist healthcare providers during physical examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Coordinate dental and optometry services for pediatric patients, ensuring timely access to care.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and manage case timelines effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active RN certification are mandatory.
  • Valid RN license and current First Aid/CPR certifications required.
  • Completion of mandated courses in Infection Control and Abuse/Incident Reporting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric care settings.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for effective documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
