Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide medical care to patients across all age groups, including physical and gynecological examinations.
  • Diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and educate patients on their use and benefits.
  • Perform immunizations and phlebotomy tasks to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
  • Advocate for patients and provide education on chronic diseases, parenting, prenatal care, and stress management.
  • Supervise mid-level practitioners and collaborate with specialists for referrals and consultations.
  • Participate in peer reviews, case conferences, and case management activities to ensure quality care.
  • Develop and implement medical protocols in collaboration with the Clinical Guidelines Committee.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies during documentation and patient interactions.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a valid medical license to practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in family medicine; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in providing comprehensive medical care to diverse patient populations.
  • Strong skills in patient advocacy, health education, and disease prevention strategies.
  • Ability to supervise mid-level practitioners and collaborate effectively with specialists.
  • Experience in developing medical protocols and participating in quality improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements in healthcare settings.
