Project Manager – Ground-Up Multifamily Construction

Overview

• Lead multifamily construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure project alignment.
• Oversee ground-up construction processes for multifamily residential buildings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout project execution.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
• Provide leadership to on-site teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays proactively.
• Utilize construction management software to streamline operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of multifamily construction projects.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, optimizing cost and efficiency.
• Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring quality and adherence to plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and clients.
• Resolve conflicts and challenges on-site to maintain project momentum.
• Implement cost-control measures to stay within budget constraints.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management for multifamily construction; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of ground-up construction processes and multifamily building standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work on-site and oversee construction activities directly.
