Overview

  • Assist with tax return assembly, e-filing, and document management during tax season.
  • Work onsite Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings during peak tax season.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to tax return assembly, e-filing, and document management.
  • Support the preparation and processing of tax extensions, scanning, and organizing client documentation.
  • Handle various administrative duties as needed, emphasizing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and clients to ensure seamless operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data management and scheduling.
  • Cross-train in other CPA firm administrative functions to support the team.
  • Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with CCH ProSystems Axcess and Document Management is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working onsite and during extended hours in tax season.
