Quality Control Specialist (Architectural)

Overview

• The Quality Control Specialist (Architectural) ensures compliance with design documents and oversees quality of exterior and interior finishes.
• Monitor construction methods for site work, concrete, steel, and architectural finishes to maintain industry standards.
• Inspect materials and craftsmanship to verify adherence to specifications and certifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve non-conforming work and finalize punch list items.
• Provide expertise in quality control for commercial, government, or industrial construction projects.
• Ensure the aesthetic finishes align with project requirements and client expectations.
• Contribute to strategic solutions and align teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Review contract documents and subcontractor submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct inspections of exterior envelope and interior finishes for compliance with approved submittals and mock-ups.
• Verify materials meet specified requirements and possess necessary certification documents.
• Monitor craftsmanship quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with project management teams, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors to address non-conforming work.
• Ensure timely resolution of punch list items and project close-out.
• Provide leadership in quality control processes and align teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or construction on commercial, government, or industrial projects.
• Strong initiative and responsibility to deliver excellence and value.
