Lead Project Manager

Overview

• Lead and manage commercial construction projects in the Metro Atlanta area, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines effectively.
• Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and financial management to ensure profitability and compliance.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in construction processes and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to milestones.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers.
• Handle complex renovations, ground-up constructions, and projects exceeding $3M in volume.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet client expectations and organizational goals.
• Coordinate subcontractor execution, ensuring adherence to contracts and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with owners, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
• Assign tasks to team members, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor construction progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout project execution.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, invoices, and contracts.
• Lead project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management; 7 years preferred.
• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects exceeding $3M in volume.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Metro Atlanta and travel as required for project needs.
