Overview
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects in the Metro Atlanta area, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines effectively.
- Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and financial management to ensure profitability and compliance.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in construction processes and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to milestones.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers.
- Handle complex renovations, ground-up constructions, and projects exceeding $3M in volume.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules to meet client expectations and organizational goals.
- Coordinate subcontractor execution, ensuring adherence to contracts and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with owners, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Assign tasks to team members, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor construction progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout project execution.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, invoices, and contracts.
- Lead project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions with stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management; 7 years preferred.
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects exceeding $3M in volume.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Metro Atlanta and travel as required for project needs.
